What?We collect your mobile phone number and related consent records when you give us your number — for example, on an application, a web or contact form, in person, or over the phone. This includes the date, time, and method of your consent; your messaging preferences; and the delivery status of the messages we send you.
How?We use your mobile number only to:
  • Send account and security alerts, such as suspected-fraud alerts, low-balance notices, and loan or payment reminders;
  • Send appointment confirmations and reminders;
  • Send promotional or marketing messages about our products and services, but only if you have separately opted in;
  • Reply to messages you send us; and
  • Verify your identity when required for account security.
Consent?You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on a Grove Bank form, or by giving verbal or written consent that we document in your account record. Your consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from us, and is collected separately from account and security alerts.
